Lets be honest, before Dj Maphorisa mention "Music legend" Don Laka, you had no idea who Don Laka was. So i did a little digging to see if they is anything we can learn from Don, or if he has done any enticing numbers in his years of music glory.

What we know about Don Laka

1. Real name Donald Mahwetša Laka (born 15 December 1958 in Mamelodi, Pretoria)

2.  Is a South African jazz musician, songwriter and music producer. formally know as 

3. Don is one of the co-founders at Kalawa Jazmee and owner of Bokone Music (know for managing Jeff Maluleke).

4. Don and  Oskido, together sold Kalawa Jazzmee to universal in 2016

5. Don has four albums dating back to 1996 that have sold over 100 000 copies, each winning gold and platinum awards.
